“I’m not giving up on anything,” Ernesto countered. “I have been given a higher calling, I think.” As the pair continued to discuss the sudden departure, a short and stocky man entered the room; He was garbed in shiny red leather pants and a matching leather jacket which was covering a black Slayer t-shirt. He smiled at the two other men in the small room.

“Are you ready?” Dominick asked.

“Almost Dom,” Ernesto replied, he had yet to notice the outfit, “just have a few last things to pack into this chest.”

“What in God’s name are you wearing Dom, and how many cows were butchered to make that outfit?” Rodrigo asked. Ernesto looked up and began laughing hysterically.

“You look like a Vienna sausage!” Ernesto could barely contain himself and took a break from packing and sat on his bed.

“Hey! This is in-style now!” Dominick performed a spin, “Ohhhhhh!”

“Oh no, is more like it Dom,” Rodrigo snipped.

“Forget you, I know I look good,” Dominick argued.

“I’m almost ready to go Dom, is the car ready?” Ernesto queried.

“Oh yeah, my chariot waits,” Dom replied with a smile.

“Don’t let him turn on the radio or speed.” Rodrigo warned. “He has cracked more than one set of eardrums with those amped up speakers of his.”

“What?” Dom asked as he placed his hand to his ear. “I can’t hear you, because you’re a bore.”

“Stop it now,” Ernesto interjected and continued to pack.

“Oh, can I have the hat?” Dominick asked with an excited expression.

“Away you vulture,” Rodrigo slapped Dominick’s hand as it reached for the headgear. “He’s going to need all of his gear when he gets back, and he is coming back.” Dominick’s expression went instantly sullen.

“But I really like that hat,” Dominick uttered barely above a whisper. Ernesto simply shook his head and stifled a chuckle. “So where are you going?”

“A little town in Mexico called Cihuatlan,” Ernesto replied.

“What are you going to kill?” Dominick took a seat on the bed and waited excitedly.

“Nothing,” he replied.

“Nothing, come on really?” Dominick was shocked.

“Not a thing, I’m not going on Order business, in fact I’m not taking any of my gear with me”, he replied.

“What?!” Rodrigo and Dominick both uttered in shocked unison.

“No, you need to take something, you know what’s out there,” Dominick warned.

“I know but she told me that I would be safe on my journey,” Ernesto replied.

“I hate to agree with Dom, on anything, but he’s right. You need some form of protection,” Rodrigo warned.

She said I would be safe on my travels, I must trust that,” Ernesto replied.

“Wait. Who told you this?” Dominick asked.

“He’s claiming that an angel came to him in his sleep and told him to go to this place,” Rodrigo said with a bit of an attitude.

“Whoa, really,” Dominick asked?

“Yes, but I was awake and in prayer when it happened,” Ernesto replied.
